Who's that new lady?

Hi Everyone! So most of you have probably either met or heard the name Cherese, but who is she? Cherese Evans is the new Assistant to the Pastor at Chews United Methodist Church! She comes to us from a church in South Jersey, near the shore, and I'm pretty sure she worked at Mount Zion UMC, which is in Lawnside, NJ (you may remember Pastor Goldsborough from Mt. Zion visiting us during a recent pulpit exchange Sunday). Cherese has recently gone through the early stages of ordination in the New Jersey conference and she has a few children. You may have even met some of them at the contemporary worship service a few weeks ago. Cherese was with us for our Senior Graduation Dinner and even played a round of "Are you smarter than a fifth grader." She was a good sport about it. You may even want to join Cherese in action July 1st for her first Wednesday night as the youth minister at Chews UMC. Hopefully I'll have a picture to post of her in the next few days. Peace!

Six Flags and a Free Concert!

You asked for it! You want to go to six flags this summer, don't you? Well the Chews Reset group has a sweet deal for you. Our United Methodist Conference has put together a trip to Six Flags that includes a free Toby Mac concert! The cost is $26.75, which is more than half off a regular ticket price, and you can see the former DC Talk star perform. The date for this trip is June 6th, but we need to order tickets as soon as possible. If you are interested, please let Brian know. Thanks, and I'll see you at Six Flags Great Adventure!
